About the Artist

(The unknown is where I want to be.)

Thicket No.1

Thicket No. 1, 1989–90, Aluminium and plastic, 16 × 12 x 5 cm, 250kg

© Roni Horn and Hauser & Wirth

两边的文字内容都用大写字母书写,其中一部分写着“看清风景 「TO SEE A LANDSCAPE AS IT IS」 ”,另一部分写着“当我不在那里的时候 「WHEN I AM NOT THERE」 ”。

Pink Tons

Pink Tons, 2009, Glass, 120 × 120 x 110cm, 4514 kg © Roni Horn and Hauser & Wirth

Drawing

Must 49, 1985, Pigment and varnish on paper, 22.9 x 36.8 cm

 Must 21, 1985, Pigment and varnish on paper, multi-color, 24.4 x 45.7 cm

Roni Horn: When I Breathe, I Draw

Menil Drawing Institute,

Houston, US

Installation view of Roni Horn: When I Breathe, I Draw. Photo: Paul Hester

Th Rose Prblm (detail), 2015-16, Pen and ink, watercolor, gum arabic, Photo: Tom Powel Imaging
